Instructor Profile:

Mark has a long history with Rhee Tae Kwon Do having begun his training in 1983. He attained his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1986 to become the Branch instructor at Mirboo North. He then opened Dojangs in Poowong, Korumburra and Leongatha.

With over 30 years experience in the security industry, including 5 years with the DOJ correctional services division, Mark became a qualified trainer and assessor teaching defensive tactics, tactical firearms, baton and handcuffing accreditations for the private security industry. He is also a VicPol approved advanced defensive tactics instructor in edged weapons and tactical firearms.

More recently Mark has become a St John Ambulance trainer and assessor, servicing corporate clients, C.F.A, S.E.S, R.A.A.F, Educational Dept, Corrections and public groups, delivering training from CPR through to Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Advanced Resus and Oxygen therapy.

Over the many years as an Instructor Mark has been instrumental in establishing over a dozen Rhee Tae Kwon Do branches in the Gippsland and LaTrobe Valley regions. He is now the Senior Regional Instructor for Gippsland responsible for Traralgon, Morwell, Yarram, Rosedale, Moe, and Mirboo North Branches and has attained the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt with a focus on making this Dojang Moe’s home of self defence.
