pattern Yoo-Sin

Named after General Kim Yoo-Sin, a commander during the Silla Dynasty that lead to the unification of the Korean Peninsula in 668AD, thus the reason for 68 movements in this pattern.

The pattern, Yoo Sin, was developed in Malaysia between 1962 and 1964 with the help of Master Kim Bok Man and Master Woo Jae Lim.

At age 15, with Silla under the rule of King Jin-Pyeong, Kim Yoo Sin became a Hwa-Rang warrior, an accomplished swordsman and quickly promoted in an unprecedented 3 years to the rank of Unit Commander.
